Touring by bicycle around clean, green and beautiful Denmark is a
delightful way to spend an exciting holiday. The Danish countryside
varies all the time: green hills are quickly followed by waving yellow
and green fields, picturesque villages, well-preserved castles and
manor houses, lovely forests, tranquil lakes and clean, white beaches.
In the towns and villages you will come across many interesting examples
of Denmarks heritage and history.
Cyclists are given high priority in the traffic. In the towns you
will find bicycle paths. In the country there are many quiet, peaceful
lanes and paths specially designated for cyclists. Denmark is a very
safe country in which to ride a bicycle.
Our routes have been carefully planned so that you do not come into
contact with much traffic, still allowing you the opportunity to see
and experience as many things as possible enroute. Detailed maps and
route descriptions make it very easy for your to find your way. The
distances are always manageable.
The tour package also includes an excellent bicycle, custom built
every season, and accommodation at hotels or inns including breakfast, local taxes and service charges. Luggage transport is
included in all our tours. This means that your luggage will be picked
up at the hotel in the morning and will then be waiting for you at
the next hotel in the afternoon.
All the hotels and inns you will be staying at are of a high standard,
and all rooms have private facilities. At our hotels and inns you
will find the best of Danish/Scandinavian cuisine. In the towns the
hotels are centrally located. In the country, you will be staying
primarily at small family hotels and cozy Danish Inns famous for their
warm and friendly hospitality.
