A tour of the beautiful South coast to experience the incredible variety along the coastline including black glacial-outwash sands, mossy lava fields, spouting hot springs and huge icecaps. This is a guided jeep tour.

Day 1: Sunday. Arrival Reykjavik
Overnight stay in Reykjavik at Hotel Loftleidir. Transfer included with our Basic Iceland Package when purchased, if not transfer on own.

Day 2: Monday. Reykjavik - South Shore - Kirkjubæjarklaustur
Drive along the south shore passing various places of beauty and interest e.g. Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls and the sand flats of Markafljót river.  On to Dyrhólaey, a nature reserve offering a spectacular view over Myrdalsjokull glacier and black sandy beaches.  Continue to Kirkjubæjarklaustur, former site of a 12th century Catholic convent, for overnight stay.

Day 3: Tuesday. Skaftafell National park - Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon
Skaftafell National Park is one of Iceland's most outstanding areas of natural beauty dominated by the glacier Vatnajökull, Europe's largest ice cap.  Continue to the Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon where huge icebergs, float and grind together in the still, deep waters of the lagoon.

Day 4: Wednesday.
Thjórsárdalur
Today you will visit Thjórsárdalur valley which is dominated by the celebrated volcano Hekla. If weather permits you will visit Thórsmörk valley, a picturesque site beneath glaciers.

Day 5: Thursday.
Gullfoss and Geysir- Reykjavik
Departure for the Geysir area to see the famous Great Geysir and boiling mud pools. On to Gullfoss, one of Iceland's most impressive waterfall before continuing to Thingvellir National Park before returning to Reykjavik.
Overnight stay in Reykjavik at Hotel Loftleidir.

Day 6: Friday. Reykjavik Departure
Transfer included with our Basic Iceland Package when purchased, if not transfer on own.

- Accommodation for 5 nights with private facilities and breakfast
- Jeeps with driver/guide as per itinerary

Day 1.
Reykjavik - Akureyri - Lake Mývatn
Taxi on own to Reykjavik Domestic Airport. Flight to Akureyri from where you will be picked up. Transfer to Lake Mývatn. Sightseeing tour of the Lake Mývatn area. After the tour an introduction of the activities available.

Day 2.
Free day at Lake Mývatn : optional tours available, see below.
Please note that all tours are dependent on weather and road-conditions, and therefore only booked locally at Lake Mývatn.

Day 3.
Akureyri - Reykjavik
The morning will be spent at Lake Mývatn and then in the afternoon a transfer to Akureyri where you will go on a short sightseeing tour of Akureyri enjoying the beautiful sights. Afternoon flight back to Reykjavik .

Snowmobile
Take an exciting adventure on our snowmobiles out on the frozen Lake Mývatn or travel deep into the Highlands with one of our guides.30 min and 1 hour tour available.

Super-Jeep
Sightseeing at Mývatn and a super jeep adventure.3 tours available; around the area of Lake Mývatn ; a tour to Dettifoss the most powerful waterfall in Europe and unforgettable at winter time; a tour further into the Mývatn area.

Sightseeing tours
Sightseeing tours to some spectacular places, Icelandic farms, power station, museums and a search for the northern lights.These tours are recommended for all nature lovers.

Cross-Country skiing
The Lake Mývatn area and surrounding Highlands are great for cross-country skiing.There is a good mixture of areas from easy to more demanding and the length of each tour also depends on ones ability.

Winter garden
Different kinds of amusements on the frozen lake; bowling, cricket, skating, mini golf etc.

Aurora Adventure
How about viewing the spectacular Northern Lights to the backdrop of Vatnajökull glacier, the largest icecap in Europe? The Höfn village with a population of 1300, is located on the South East shore of Iceland.

Day 1 - Flight - Reykjavík - Höfn
Taxi on own to Reykjavik Domestic Airport. Morning flight from Reykjavík airport. On arrival to Höfn guests are taken to Hotel Höfn for coffee and a short briefing on the adventures awaiting them.  Guests can then settle in or take a stroll around the village, but we reccomend a tour to the magnificent Glacial Lagoon where they are likely to catch sight of seals as well as the floating icebergs in the lake.  In the afternoon guests are taken to the Glacier Exhibition where they learn about some of the secrets of Vatnajökull glacier. After dinner at Hotel Höfn the search is on for the Magical Northern lights.

Day 2 - Northern Lights Tour
After breakfast guest go on the guided tour entitled "The Mountains and the Coast", where the black beaches and multi-coloured mountains are explored.  On concluding the evening meal we go for a walk from the hotel, scan the night sky and hope for the Northern Lights to make their magical apperance.

Day 3 - Höfn - Reykjavík
After breakfast guests are driven to the airport and depart for Reykjavík.

Day 1 - Blue Lagoon.
Arrival and coach transfer to the Blue Lagoon located in the middle of a lava field and renowned for its healing powers.  You will be pampered with a relaxing massage in the lagoon itself, based on the unique, active Blue Lagoon ingredients.
To make your treatment as effective and enjoyable as possible allow yourself plenty of time to relax in the lagoon before and after the treatment.  Overnight at the Nothern Light Inn by the Blue Lagoon.

Day 2 - Northern Lights Lobster Feast.
Morning coach transfer to Reykjavík. Day at leisure for exploring the city of Reykjavík and its many attractions. At the hotel you have access to the Nordica Spa, additional fee, where you can enjoy a variety of treatments
In the evening you will be picked-up at the hotel for a Northern Lights Lobster Feast.
Departure from Reykjavík in a super jeep to Stokkseyri, a small seaside village on  the south shore and its restaurant Við Fjöruborðið. You will enjoy their specialty, freshly caught lobster tails with sidedishes. After dinner you will go on a twilight off-road tour across lavafields, chasing the Aurora Borealis (weather conditions permitting) before returning to Reykjavík.

Day 3 - Reykjavik.
Free day in Reykjavik or we can offer optional tours including City Tour ($56/2.5h) or Golden Circle Tour ($115/8h).

Day 4 - Departure Transfer.
Flybus transfer to Keflavík Airport for departure from Iceland.

- Transfer from KEF airport to the Blue Lagoon on day 1
