If you have limited time in Bergen or want to see more of the spectacular Norwegian Fjord Region, we recommend that you visit the Hardanger Fjord, located south/east of Bergen. Hardanger Fjord is known for its beautiful waterways, spectacular mountains, idyllic orchards and cozy small scenic fjord towns. All tours include a morning scheduled coach from Bergen to Norheimsund, followed by a 2 hour 45 minute cruise on the Hardanger Fjord into Eidfjord. Here you will have 3 hours to explore on your own or take an OPTIONAL 3 hour guided tour to the Hardangervidda Nature Center and the Voringfossen Waterfall, the larges in Norway. From Eidfjord the tour continues by boat for 30 minutes to Ulvik for a short visit before onward travel by scheduled coach to Voss and the train back to Bergen around 7PM or on to Oslo with late arrival around 10.30PM. Tours are operated, Bergen to Bergen and Bergen to Oslo as daytours. Tour can only be done from Oslo with overnight in Voss & Bergen as listed below.

Bergen, Norheimsund, Hardanger Fjord Cruise, Eidfjord, Ulvik, Voss and back to Bergen or v.v. plus optional Oslo add-on.

Daily Departures May 01 - September 29

This tour is an extension of the Hardanger Fjord tour and features an overnight at your choice of either the Voringfoss Hotel in Eidfjord, the RICA Brakanes Hotel in Ulvik or the historic Fleischer’s Hotel in Voss. On Day 2 the tour continues from either Eidfjord, Ulvik or Voss to Bergen or to Oslo, see below for details.

Tour Includes:
• Scheduled coach from Bergen to Norheimsund
• Cruise on Hardanger Fjord to Eidfjord
• 3 hour scheduled bus tour from Eidfjord to Hardangervidda Nature Center and the Voringfossen waterfall
• Cruise on to Ulvik
• Scheduled bus to Voss
• Overnight at either the Voringfoss Hotel, the RICA Brakanes Hotel or the Fleischer’s Hotel including breakfast and 3 course dinner or smorgaasbord buffet.
• Standard class train between Voss and Bergen, or Oslo, see options below.

Tour Costs May 01 - September 29, 2008:
PP in twin: $424 Single supplement: $67
Third adult $394 in xbed.
Children ages 4-15 years in xbed in parent’s room: $227.
Options: (Including seat reservations):
Add $120 adult or $60 per child if returning to Oslo from Voss instead of going to Bergen.
Add $300 adult or $150 per child if going Oslo to Bergen and returning to Oslo from Voss.
Upgrade to Komfort Class (1st class) incl. PC jack, Coffee/Tea and a Norwegian paper add
$20 p.p. per train. Does not apply to local trains Voss-Bergen or v.v.
NOTE!! Required extra night in Bergen when arriving from Oslo is not included.
Tour can be extended with multiple nights in each city or a combination of two or more cities.
